BD Diesel Performance designs, manufactures, and distributes a comprehensive lineup of products engineered specifically for high-performance diesel applications. Headquartered in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada, BD operates from a 65,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility staffed by more than 60 highly trained professionals.
The BD name gained widespread recognition in 1989 with the introduction of the first exhaust brake for diesel pickup trucks, helping define the modern diesel performance market. The company’s roots trace back even further to 1972, when Valley Fuel Injection, Ltd. was founded. Today, Valley Fuel Injection and BD Diesel Performance operate as a unified organization.
BD’s vertically integrated structure includes eight specialized divisions focused on diesel powertrain components, including fuel injection calibration, exhaust brake manufacturing, electronic circuit design and assembly, transmission and torque converter design and remanufacturing, turbocharger development, installation services, and advanced research and development.
