BD Diesel Performance designs, manufactures, and distributes a full range of products engineered specifically for high performance diesel applications. Headquartered in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada, BD operates from a 65,000 square foot, state of the art facility and employs more than 60 highly trained professionals.
The BD name gained industry recognition in 1989 with the introduction of the first exhaust brake for diesel pickup trucks, helping shape the modern diesel performance market. The company’s roots trace back to 1972, when Valley Fuel Injection Ltd. first opened its doors. Today, Valley Fuel Injection and BD Diesel Performance operate as a single, unified organization.
BD’s vertically integrated structure includes eight specialized divisions focused on diesel powertrain components, including fuel injection calibration, exhaust brake manufacturing, electronic circuit design and assembly, transmission and torque converter design and remanufacturing, turbocharger development, installation services, and research and development. This comprehensive, in house approach allows BD to deliver proven, high quality products while supporting knowledgeable dealers and ensuring long term customer satisfaction across the diesel performance aftermarket.
